older pnm
by: Help!Hey guys! So I have a question. This past spring semester was my first semester at txstate after completing a year and a half at community college (good for my wallet but not my social life haha). I will be going through rush this fall, however, I will be considered a junior. I am scared that a lot of the houses will not want me because I will be older even though I have a lot to offer and I will be getting my masters here so I'll be around for a few more years. Do y'all have any tips to help me get a bid and stand out during recruitment? Thanks! :)

Well it's great that you want to get a masters, but that doesn't really matter being that like I said sororities are for undergrad. They want to know what you're going to contribute to the chapter NOW. If you look good on paper you're more inclined to stand out meaning involvement in high school/college, good grades, etc. and while we are at it lets talk about first impressions... Dress appropriately and I'm sorry idc if you're miss Texas teen lol or if you're homeless, be nice and be genuine. PLEASE there's nothing worse then rushing someone who is inauthentic

I know but I'm just wondering if I say that it might show that I want to go better myself by getting a masters or idk just stuff to say so that I can stand out.
