give the guys a break, theyre trying to come up and are putting more work in than any other fraternity at TSU. they are on the rise and i have a lot of respect for them. yes, derby days kind of wasnt what we all wanted to do but the auction was fun and it got people together and put their name out there.

If you said KA strives to be... sure that'd be right on. But, they have not actually taken those type of guys or acted like that for a couple years now.

I get how you would think that. They certainly lowered the standards (not bid every random weirdo though) a bit to keep and gain numbers in the couple years before they built the house. They've since turned that around but it'll take time to see the improvement. That's a completely natural part of the building a house process. They are top tier though. They do have strong involvement - most philanthropy in the Fall, got a couple guys on IFC Exec, think they got someone in ASG too. They do not have a problem with retention. They are a little bit try hard, but they are not about to collapse. That's just wishful thinking on the part of the real uppity try hards that are in the distant mid-tier.

Maybe, but the house gives them a recruiting advantage that will let them be more selective while staying big. They were always going to dip quality going into a new house and then improve slowly for a long time after they got it. They're on track.

They have a bad reputation on campus but I know a lot of these girls that are super fun and pretty. Their date parties are honestly better than any other sororities.
