No one would brag about highest GPA. Plus, they didn't have highest active GPA or highest pledge class GPA. So go figure. Derby days seems like it helped them from a marketing standpoint, but it's far less philanthropy than most everyone is doing. Chapter of the year is the kiss up award from Greek Affairs. No one would brag about that either. I hope you're right that they're putting it together cause this would be the first sign of life from them. They have a long way to go though and many others are going up as well. We'll see what they do next year. Till they prove something, all this talk is just try hard.

Everyone greek girl secretly wishes at some point they were Zeta. These girls are known for being the best looking, with the most $$. They are complete snobs but the guys love them and girls are jealous, from an outsider with friends in all of the sororities on campus this is truth.

Sigma Chi has put in more effort than anyone recently to make a run for the top. If it is kept up, they will def. take it as everyone else is either stagnant or going down. Sigma Chi has some work to go but is still being proactive (honestly any Fraternity would be bragging about either highest GPA or chapter of the year if they got it, not to mention both). And bringing back Derby Days was more of a success than any one expected. I feel it is the upcoming pledge class that will decide their future. If it is like the last fall, everyone else should stop ranking why they are better and start showing it, because honestly, Sigma Chi is already putting in the effort to be a step ahead in that aspect. Keep your heads up and don't miss anything as greek life grows at Texas State.
