I've been to other sororities date parties and they don't compare to DGs. I went to their Casual and had a good time. They rented out a boat on Lake Austin and had an open bar.

Oldest fraternity on campus. Easily the most organized alumni base. Holds the largest greek event each year with Fite Nite. The house is the best on campus though a little far out. Needs to work on grades, but they are avg. Not the "cool" kids and not the "dorks". Good guys, socially active and in good standing with the University(most others have some sort of issue right now). Give them a look, you may find they fit your needs.

Hello! I am a potential new member and will be in my second semester this Fall. I am extremely excited about becoming Greek. However, I am really disappointed in this petty banter between sororities. I understand it is competitive, but it is not classy or sophisticated to continuously bash each other. I hope this isn't how this will always be. I want to be surrounded by kind, sophisticated, and intelligent women.

Regardless of all of their negative sterotypes the ladies of DG throws hands down the best date parties out of all the sororities and they know how to party
