transfer, but already in a house
by: transferI'm transferring to SMU in the fall, and am already a part of a sorority at my past university. This particular house also has a great house on SMU campus, and I'm wondering if, and how, I can join the SMU chapter.

You'll need to go through the tranfer affiliation process, which usually involves the actives at SMU getting to know you and then voting on whether to affiliate you as an SMU active. If they vote no, you're still an "XYZ" but considered an alumna.
Your sorority's national website will have more detailed and sorority-specific info than you're going to get on GR.
