real rankings?

People at SMU freak out about tiers alot, but honestly every house has girls who are beautiful and care about their philanthropy and sisterhood. In my opinion, the ranking is just done by the amount that the girls party. They still all care about each other in the top houses, but Theta parties more than GPhi. As a senior that's honestly the only difference I see. Since SMU is all about who you know there are gorgeous girls in all 8 houses, and some not as superfically attractive. While some people might tell you all the pretty girls are in top houses, just a couple days on campus and you'll realize this stereotype is not true. Go where you feel at home with your sisters, as that is what will be important for your time here. If you really like to party 3-4 times a week, a top house is for you, if it's more like 1-2 times a week, a bottom house is for you. Simple as that.

Top house will be the one with similar core values to you and the one that makes you feel valued. Everything else falls away once you are here and certainly once you become established.
