Is it acceptable to rush as a sophomore transfer? Does it make it any harder if you don't really have connection's?

Not necessarily, every house has a quota they have to make for sophomores who rush

Not at all! Just make sure you get to know girls in the houses first semester. Meet them through your classes, your dorm, campus involvement, parties, literally anything and find out which house you mesh with!

All of the sororities are great. The only mistake you could make would be thinking you need to be in a sorority that really didn't feel welcoming or accepting.

The Sophmore quota and less competition may actually be an advantage for you. Like others have said get involved and get to know girls the first semester. You will be fine.
