rush

Was just wondering how competitive rush was this year? I know at a school like smu its a huge rush and a lot of girls get cut, but could someone just give a summary of what sororities look for when choosing who gets a bid. I know legacies are a shoe in more often than not with that chosen sorority but for everyone else who's not what is it like, thanks!
