SMU on par with Vandy, EMory or Tulane...oh please, not even close in terms of academics!

The KD chapter closed at TCU. And the ADPi chapter at TCU is terrible.

Also, KD and ADPi are terrible at UT, Tech, ATM, and Baylor.

Hey girls! Please consider the following.

First of all.....UT, Baylor, Tech, TCU and ATM have way more sororities than SMU. Maybe we consider SMU to be a superior school, but the facts are that those larger universities have a larger greek system and produce way more legacies.

Second, KD, ADPi, Aphi, DG, AXO and Zeta are at all ,if not most, of those schools. Say what you want to about Zeta's history at SMU. But...Zeta competes head to head at all the other major Texas universities with all of the SMU sororities plus another 5-8 more. And, Zeta is always a highly desired sorority. They definately have stronger chapters at Baylor, TCU, UT, ATM, Tech and Texas State versus DG, ADPi, KD, AXO, Aphi and KD.

When I was considering joining a sorority most of the "grown ups" and college girls I knew said the Big Six in Texas are PiPhi, Kappa, Theta, Tri-delt, Chi-o and Zeta.

Just saying....let's give Zeta a chance. They seem to be really popular at most respectable TX universities

Zeta is the 3rd or 4th largest sorority in the nation. Don't try to say that size is a weakness. Chi-O is the largest national sorority. Also, you are insulting a large percentage of greek women (active and alumn) if you insult Zeta.

If Zeta can't compete, they will leave. If they do well, then how does that hurt SMU???

And again, they have a strong presence in Texas, Florida, Indiana, Georgia, etc... Get over it.

I couldn't care less about Oklahoma or Ole Miss. I know way too many women from those universities, and am NOT impressed.

Besides, I could make a case why Gamma Phi, AXO, KD, APhi and DG should leave the state.

wow, if whatever is a zeta...and represents their group....i say smu should pass on zta

zta may be large but so is delta zeta and alpha phi, zeta has alot of chapters at no name schools, but can't get on campus at the ivy leagues, top private schools, many strong state universities...PASS ON ZTA

You all should be ashamed of yourselves! As a greek, and a former national officer of one greek group, I am so disgusted at your comments about the greeks member groups...I am hopeful that the comments are not from greeks but from non, uninformed parties. Should greek members be commenting it is a disgrace to our values!!!

You seem to have anger management issues. People are just trying to explain to you why Zeta might not be the best option. You say you're not a Zeta, but you seem violently disturbed that some people think it might not be right for SMU. So, what's the deal? And by the way, you're insulting a lot of women when you say Gamma Phi, AXO, KD, Aphi and DG should leave the state. Just saying...
