with either of you. I think people are going to say these things, and it's not a big deal. The only issue I have is the fact that so many people take great offense to what is said here.
People are mean, and that's life. We need to grow up, get over it, and learn to be comfortable being who we are, despite the comments people make about our social organizations.
If this site bothers you, don't come here. Problem solved.

yeah, people are mean but we don't need a public forum for meaness. And a lot of stuff on here might be true about one or 2 people in a group but not for the whole group. And all groups have good or bad within them, and what one person considers good about one group might be something that is considered bad by another. Why not let people get to know individuals and form their own opinions. People are not their sorority or fraternity and vice versa. Except for those people who are afraid to think for themselves and really don't know who they are

There are lots of great sororities and fraternities at SMU. There are those who say or think they are top, but they and their groupies are the only ones who feel that way. Every house has great girls and guys, and everyone loves their house and thinks it is best or they would drop it. Those who think they are top would find that others really don't share their values and wouldn't want to be a part of that group. It doesn't make that group better or worse than another, it just means different groups value different things, and there's something for everyone. If this was a competition there would be no winner because everyone values different and no one would agree

It would be so nice to just try to find he good in each other, as houses and as individuals. Everyone has something good in them, they may not be beautiful or rich but maybe they are empathetic , or always have a smile or introduce you to that great guy hat is their good friend.lol just remember kindness comes back to you in so many ways. Let's all start with kind words and a smile!
