There is a lot of bs on GR and clear propaganda from certain houses. Here is the truth about rankings and who mixes with who for all the girls coming this fall. Please don't let this determine where you go, but also know that this is as accurate as possible. Houses are in tiers.

Kappa - mixes with sae, phi delt, sig chi, Fiji. They are the top house on campus and take a lot of wealthy girls with a trendy, stylish, classy vibe. Primarily pairs with sae.
Pi Phi - mixes with the same as kappa. Also a top house but go for a slightly different vibe - think California cool girl. Their insta is representative of the vibe. primarily pairs with phi delt.

Tri Delt - very dominant following the loss of theta. Very much cool girl vibes, mixes with the same frats as the top two but also some other frats as well. Pretty, involved, cool girls. pairs with sig chi or phi delt primarily.
Chi O - used to have more of a religious vibe but they take girls from all over now. Generally regarded as sweet and involved. Mix with similar frats to tri delt but primarily pairs with beta.

DG - used to be quiet and involved but recent PC's have been a bit more of a mixed bag and there have been some attempts to try to go cool girl. Mix with sig nu and aepi.
AXO - similar to DG with regards to rep/type of girls. Sweet, involved girls. Mix with sig nu, aepi, and k sig.

ADPI - newest house on campus so there is some unknown here. it appears they took a broad range of girls, but it will be difficult to determine their position until formal recruitment.

All houses on SMU's campus are competitive and you will end up at the house that fits you best. This is just an attempt to cut through all the craziness that is often on this website. If anyone wants to argue, they likely aren't currently involved in greek life or have some other agenda.
