Why don’t we abolish Greek life?

Discussions about reforming the systems that have emboldened racial divisions have spread across the country in the post George-Floyd era. One such discussions has been the abolition of Greek Life. Many of the students who are leading the charge to abolish Greek life on college campuses have actually come from former Greeks themselves. How do SMU students feel about at least reforming Greek life?

You would have still met them had you not joined a fraternity so I disagree with the idea that you “Never would have met them”. If Greek life were abolished then you probably would have met them but just under different circumstances.
