What does “Woke” actually mean?

The majority of Republicans scream about everything in cultural wars as being “Woke!”
The vast majority of people don’t even know the definition as to what “Woke” actually even means!
Merriam-Webster defines Woke: (Chiefly US Slang) “Aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)
So in regards to Ms. Right referring to National Thetas being liberal, trans, men like, and woke unlike “The Society or Theta Society “….What is your implied definition of Woke?
