Did the TS girls even rush?
by: ZebraI know that TS “initiation” (if that’s the term) happened at the same time as smu rush. However, did the society girls even rush? Or were they just invited to join the society so they skipped the whole rush process?

No. “Recruitment is Not The Same As ‘Initiation’ Mam! Recruitment or RUSH as it was called “Back In The Day” is the week when PNM’s (Potential New Member’s) go through the official process of meeting all sororities or fraternities…and either by the Sorority/Fraternity and/or PNM’s choices ….each narrows down the selection process to where finally there is a Mutual Preference and Selection by both parties and the PNM receives a “Bid” to his or preferred Sorority/Fraternity.
The PNM must complete his or her fraternity or sororities “Pledge Program” successfully in order to be “Finally Initiated!”
Who knows what Theta Society or “The Society” requires, but You’re Wasting Your Time and Energy!
