the harsh reality for kkg alums
by: truthcan kkg alums chill. pi phi did better this year like kkg did better last year. but the biggest issue at hand is the bashing on the society and theta that’s been going on for years at this point. you guys act like the society girls won’t become kao members in 2024. ts is “holding place” for girls who will be members and is definitely a pledge class bc they are pledging. considering this many girls are willing to wait another year until membership says a lot about how desired they are. i kinda of wish there were more social clubs because of the amount of girls who couldn’t get bids due to pnm size.

As long as “The Society” is around I seriously doubt Kappa Alpha Theta National nor SMU Panhellenic will be inviting any them back anytime soon!
Pi Kappa Alpha and KA’s suspensions are completed, but SMU IFC has not invited them back to campus.
SMU Panhellenic nor Theta National do not recognize “The Society” as a legitimate organization.
As far as KKG ‘s recruitment went this year, I’m sure they did just fine!

These girls will not get a bid to join Theta in the future.
When Theta comes back their nationals will send young alumnae ELCs to start to reestablish the chapter. They are going to recruit girls who represent Theta’s values and their nationals will keep a close eye on this chapter for years after.
Anyone who joins The Society does not fit that mold.

So right! The Kappa Alpha Theta National mold is earthy, trans encouraged, liberal and woke. None of the Society girls fit that mold. It will be a whole new house of activists and dudes. You're 100% accurate.

So are you insinuating that the Kappa Alpha Theta members at UT Austin could possibly have Lesbians in their Chapter for example?

Appears that the Society was created so that suspended thetas could have a sorority experience until they graduate.
The new members are fulfilling a role in this experience with no guarantees from theta nationals that they will be initiated.
If the new members are being told you will be initiated once suspension is lifted, they need to open their eyes & see they are being used.
If they are straight up told that they don’t know what is going to happen, then fine. New members know what they’re getting into.
So, what have the new members been told?

I forgot to mention that I spoke with one of my Dallas KKG Realtor Friends this evening. She is a very active Dallas Alumni and also very good friends with another KKG Realtor associate who happens to be a an SMU KKG advisor. Even they had heard about “Theta Society” having been “Shut Down” on Instagram!
