is theta society recruiting this spring??
by: TSsooo after their instagram got shut down is theta society still “recruiting” this spring? if we’re interested what should we do/ who do we reach out to? does anyone have any kinda update

Soooo…you want to join a “club”?? Because that’s all Theta Society is: the remnants of the SMU Theta chapter, trying desperately to remain relevant and—most importantly to them—POPULAR!
Theta Nationals want NOTHING to do with them and they won’t be included in any SMU Greek activities. They can’t pair and have to social standing other than mommy and daddy’s names and money.
But if you’re vapid, shallow and go around fixing your make-up and flaunting your designer handbags—then maybe you DO belong there!

Looking back, panHELLenic is to blame for not being "more forthcoming" about the limited true openings for the top 5 legacy-saturated sororities to 850 unknowing freshmen PNMs. 😖
The university is to blame for scheduling recruitment to entrap 450 newly sHoCkEd GDI unsuspecting girls for 2 exorbitantly expensive semesters. Then both dropping them with limited social events or activities for the captured Spring semester. 😤

panHELLenic 👿 should have forewarned the Spring PNMs about the very low probability of getting a bid from the top 2 sororities as a non-legacy. Also about the real probability of not getting a bid from the mid 3 sororities unless the PNM is a legacy or already knows a ton of members. 🤨
Spring GDI sHoCk is the most as severe at SMU. A complete " social metamorphosis " from the Fall semester. Severe Greek sorority cliques develop resulting in GDI isolation on most evenings and weekends. The newly shocked GDI is ready to transfer away as soon as she finishes her last Spring semester final. 😞
