Double dipping theta society and real chapters

My suggestion for ALL Participants in 2023 Recruitment: Since SMU Panhellenic/IFC and Theta National are closely monitoring for any "underground/illegitimate" activities for any "off shoots" of Theta...or this "Faux Theta Society" as is being called, one is best off in the end to "Follow The Rules!"

As it says in the Bible: "A Man Cannot Serve 2 Masters!"

Nope, you would be found out and your real sorority would pull your pin faster than you can say GDI. IDK what advantage anyone imagines there would be in joining a non-sorority "club" that the school may make illegal to be affiliated with. At worst you would be in trouble with the school, at best you would be viewed as desperate and pitiful. Can you imagine after graduation trying to explain that you were in "Theta Society"? You would be judged and actually laughed at behind your back.

I'm sure there are a number of KA's and Pike's from the last 4 years who have lamented that their chapters were "Suspended"and "Kicked Off The SMU Campus" just as what happened to Theta this past Summer 2022.

Most likely they continue or continued to hang out with each other; however, they accepted the reality and punishment for their hazing and violations unlike what appears to be the inability of former or "Want To Be Thetas." It's sort of like the Pottery Barn Rule: "You Break It, You Bought It."


There are plenty of SMU Grads who were former members of Zeta, AD Pi,Phi Mu,and Lambda Chi whose chapters were closed at SMU over the past years but didn't form "underground organizations."

You all think because your an Instagram Influencer you are entitled to do whatever you want to do as you wish. Again, are you going to decide to "Get Drunk...Behind The Wheel...Run The Red Light...and Tell The Officer The Law Doesn't Apply To You?"

Stop having a "Pity Party And Grow Up!"\n\n\n\n\nBottom line: Stop Having Pity Party and Grow UP! Again,

Well..if some people had not been "Naughty, Thoughtless, and Selfish...perhaps Theta would have never been Suspended."

BTW: 60 is the "New 40" if you haven't heard. Pi Phi and Kappa will have the "Upper Hand" for years to come at SMU!

It is beyond embarrassing for a sorority to get kicked off. It happens with frats sure but not sororities. I’m and trying to be some lame drinking club is pathetic desperate and screams I can’t get into UT.
