How many girls normally rush in the spring? Just wondering

January 2022, I was told, had 750 girls rush for 350 spots. Not good by any means. My aunt told me in the 70s and 80s (yes, I know — ancient!), they would adjust sizes of pledge classes to how many rushed. Just a couple of girls didn’t get a bid (falsely claimed grades) or decided to leave on their own.
