Hard for transfer students to rush?
by: Just wonderingI’m going to smu in the spring of 2023 and I wanna rush I’m scared because I don’t know if I’ll be able to get into a good house or any house because I won’t know any of the sorority girls that I would have met in the fall. I’ve heard that SMU sororities already have a list in the fall who they want to give a bid to.

Hey! It is a little harder coming here and going straight into rush because the girls that are already here have been “rushing” all first semester & most houses already have most their girls picked out. Honestly if you can I would hold out and rush as a sophomore the wait is a little long but trust me it’s worth it. I am a transfer who came the fall of my sophomore year and rushed during the spring.Seeing the other side of things rushing as a sophomore has a lot less pressure. Hope this helped :)
