Hi heard from a girl in the house that theta is getting kicked off. Can anyone confirm?

"Grand Council unanimously voted to withdraw the chapter’s charter. Effective immediately, Beta Sigma Chapter is closed.

Theta staff is working diligently with SMU’s administration on a plan for re-establishment that could happen no sooner than May 2024."

Per Kappa Alpha Theta National, Theta chapter at SMU has been shut down for the foreseeable future. As a Theta from UT-Austin, I am incredibly disappointed in this chapter. Wildly embarrassing and immature behavior.

That absolutely never happened. How ridiculous. Sadly, when your top house everyone wants to take you down. Apparently even Thetas from other schools. UT Austin, not a good look. Beta Sigma Chapter is so close, this will only make them stronger. They know the truth, they can hold their heads high. Theta Nationals completely screwed these girls and they know. Lawyer up.

I don’t think that’s true. More about drinking and a girl sending up in the hospital. They were already on probation … and lied to nationals about the incident.

Theta Nationals is at fault. They never had their back. No proper advisors in place. Pathetic what they did to these girls.
