smu 2014 fall freshmen football class

The upper classmen players aren't expecting much help next year with the 2014 incoming freshman class. Lets hope for some quality walk-ons.

All of SMUs 4 star recruit offers were denied. All but 3 of SMUs 3 star recruit offers were denied. The remaining 20 or so recruits are unranked and below average players. 70-3 score losses will be common at SMU for the next few seasons.

The Daily Campus Editor said they need more requests from SMU students to write a feature on the 2014 Football Recruit class. Lets start writing the DC asking them to expose the declining team and poor recruitment efforts.

It just blows my mind... that a school with SMU's football history and one that is located in the Texas surrounded by 8 million people in the metroplex....can't field a decent team.

We used to compete with teams like Baylor and A&M.

Not to mention kill teams like tcu.

Now we suck and it seems like we will never be good.

Everyone, please write, text, e-mail the Daily Campus Editor to begin a feature editorial on our football team's poor status and dismal future.

Lets start a campaign for SMU to join the BIG 12. Its our best hope to quickly rebuild and recruit deserving athletes. Any IDEAS on how to begin?

Last years recruits leaves a poor future for our team. Only 3 quality 3 star players, the rest unranked average high school quality players.

If Coach Jones has given-up and stopped recruiting, lets allow him out of his contract NOW. We need a real full time Top Quality Coach, who wants to be at SMU.

SMU Football Team 2014 preseason ranked 96th in the nation.

Our Football Team status and lowest ranking will be the lead story for the first Daily Campus of the academic year. Lets hope the Athletic Director will investgate Coach Jone's poor recruiting and set mandates for his job with SMU.

If he wants to leave, let him go....
