smu 2014 fall freshmen football class

SMU recruited only three 3 star recruits, the remaining were unranked. SMU over the past 20 years has always had the 45th-55th ranked freshmen recruit class in the nation. The 2014 class is ranked 98th. We will suffer through some humiliating football game losses in the next few years.

Coach Jones put in a minimum effort in recruitment this year. He appears to be happy just to ride out of his contract. We need a new motivated coach, ASAP!

Shockingly poor recruiting results this year. The recruting staff needs to report to the University to defend their jobs. The game schedule needs to be changed to lower ranked teams to reflect our projected poor quality team.

Action is needed NOW to rebuild a declining team. We need to recruit top transfer candidates. The current incoming freshman recruits are the weakest in decades. Expect 63-3 score losses next year.

We will compete with Texas A&M, University of Michigan, TCU and UCF with mainly unranked high school players. These future blow-out games will be an embarrassment to the University.

There needs to be a new staff put in place to rebuild the football program ASAP.

Lets hope the Daily Campus will begin front page feature articles on the declining team, coaches and our diminished prospects for having a winning record in the next 5 years. There needs to be changes from Athletic Director down at SMU.

Former athletic director seemed much better/motivated. Think he hired basketball coach, too? Yes, seems like coach wants out/is done. Mac Brown is great idea.
