Kappa ddd and Xo seem the same to me. The only difference is Kappa is the social climbers with social climbing moms behind the scenes.

They want their daughters in sororities where they can meet rich men from extremely wealthy families with a long standing pedigree in the south. Highly educated at fine schools such as the ivies, Vanderbilt, rice an added bonus. Why do you think they went here in the first place?

If these moms wanting their daughters to marry guys who go to Ivy League schools or Vanderbilt - why do they send their daughters to SMU then? Wouldn’t it make more sense to send their daughters to the Ivies or Vandy?

What gives you the impression that Kappas & their moms are social climbers? Some of them have family ties w Kappa & are legacies. Those, at least, don’t need to climb.

Meaning, the parents of these boys. The kids can’t just be “sent” to those schools. They didn’t get in. However, if the family is highly educated ~say daddy went to Duke~it makes them classier and well respected. Of course being wealthy is a given. That applies to southern sororities who care about old money. There is a mission. Why go to a lower sorority where you will not mix with these types. That is the mindset. Completely stupid btw.

This is deranged thinking.

Every sorority & fraternity (& GDIs for that matter!) have plenty of wealthy members.
