Is celebrating Kwanzaa cultural appropriation?

I'm a white male. Our chapter is trying to be more inclusive so I said we should celebrate Kwanzaa. We do have African Americans in our chapter, but they do not celebrate Kwanzaa. Our chapter is like 85% white if I had to guess.
Need an answer now! Don't want to get cancelled for Cultural Appropriation.
