Rushing OOS/No Connections From North
by: charI’m from OOS/The North and know no one at SMU. How difficult is it to get into a top house at SMU without knowing any actives? Trying to decide whether or not to apply to SMU, please be honest!

Where you live does not matter. It depends on how social of a person you are. As long as you can make lots of connections with people in houses the first semester you will be fine. If not the recruitment process will not be enjoyable for you. Knowing people in the houses is everything.
