There is a overall panhellenic GPA cut off (2.5) and then individual requirements for specific chapters (2.5-2.8). If a PNM has a 2.6 and Alpha Beta sorority has a 2.8 cut off, then the PNM will be able to go through recruitment (has a 2.5) but is unlikely to receive a bid from Alpha Beta sorority (2.8). However, in most cases, these requirements are what is required of active members and a PNM could receive a bid with a lower grade but would be on probation and considered a "grade risk". Also, look at the average GPAs for each chapter and realize that if your gpa is below that chapters average then they might take that into consideration. Most grade and resume based cuts occur between the first and second rounds. As a result, some girls will be cut from houses that they thought they had a shot at because their grades were not satisfactory.
