friend groups in greek life

Isn’t it crazy how so many girl gangs from first semester all ended up in the same sorority? Theta got entire friend groups, Pi phi got entire friend groups, and kappa got entire friend groups. Do girls discuss with each other on social media which sorority they like the most before school starts? I just find this weird.
