transferring and re rushing i guess

hey! i’m currently an alpha phi at a different university and i want to transfer to smu, but they don’t have alpha phi, but i still want to re rush and stuff because i want to be in greek life! i’ll be a starting sophomore when i transfer, do sororities take sophomores? and does anyone know if it’s even possible for me to re rush...?

If you've been initiated at Alpha Phi, you can't re-rush a different Panhellenic sorority, which all the SMU sororities are. It's their rules. You'll just be an Alpha Phi alum and won't be involved in Greek Life here.

Good grief. This is SMU, a serious academic Institution. You talk like a small-town valley girl. But then...Alpha Phi’s rush model is just focus on pretty, never mind smart.
