money in sororities

by: Marv

So this may sound silly but my mom is a dentist and makes a good amount of money. I was wondering which sorority is best for me. I know there's a good amount of chapters that have parents who make a high income. Thank you

Grilfren is right on, no one is that impressed by money here. unless your mom makes 20 million you're normal

A “good amount of money” for a SMU family is like $1 million+++ / year income. The really wealthy girls here are driving Range Rovers, shopping in Highland Park Village, and flying private to Spreak Break or weekend trips. I know my dentist doesn’t live like that.

Money doesn’t have much to do with a specific frat/sorority, it’s all about who you make friends with. Everyone at SMU has money so it doesn’t really make a huge difference. Just focus on finding your group and you’ll be fine!!

It's not about the money as much as it is about class, style, grace and good manners. people from the north think they will fit in bc they have a few bucks. They are sadly mistaken many times, bc the frats and frats look at how you were raised.
