Sigma Chi is an up and coming top house. FIJI and especially SAE are slipping up.

An ealier post from an SMU IFC Official said it best:

There are 4 large viable fraternities with @ 100 actives or more at SMU:

Fiji, SAE, Sigma Chi and Pike.

The remainder have less than 50 actives. There are no mid-tier fraternities at SMU. The small fraternities all have unique qualities and should be considered by all freshman rushees. Big or small you can have a blast at SMU!

First of all no "SMU IFC Official" would post on this website. Second, they would never classify fraternities into "tiers" if they ever were inclined to speak publicly about SMU Greek life. I respected Sigma Chi but the amount of self ranking and gr patrolling has really become ridiculous.

Just another comment by the "pike poser".

"pike poser", if you continue to attack SMU Fraternities on GR and make more annoying, abusive posts about the large fraternities, we will respond accordingly. We have learned you are a pike returning senior this year. Get away from GR and enjoy your last year at SMU.

Honestly had a lot of fun at lambda and sigma chi parties this past semester. Always a nice change of pace from a night out with SAE or Fiji

Don't know why LXA and EX don't do more events together. They always seem to hate each other but they could probably host some fun parties if they put their resources together.

Ladies,

Its time for the sororities to step-up and co-sponsor more social events with fraternities. Fraternities can't always do it alone. That is the best use of social resources.
