incoming rushees, please read

If you've read SMU Greek Rank, you've obviously noticed at this point that we have a troll. According to this woman's CONSTANT posts (seriously- does she have anything more valuable to do with her time??), if you aren't Greek (or are in her so called "sororities 7 and 8") you have literally no social life. Not only that, but apparently the only reason you would even go to SMU in the first place is for social life, not academics or sports or anything else even remotely more important, so if you don't get into her designated "sororities 1-6," you might as well transfer to a cheaper school or one where you are basically guaranteed a bid from whatever Greek organization you want to join. She suggests UT Austin, even though UT Austin's top sororities are arguably even harder to get into than SMU's. Her logic doesn't even make sense though. Less than half of SMU students are involved in Greek Life. Is she seriously saying that over 60% of SMU students have no social life because they don't get to walk around wearing certain letters on their sweatshirts? Seriously ridiculous. I have a friend from high school in one of "sororities 7 and 8" and based on her social media and what she's told me, I'd say she's having the time of her life at SMU. She also has close friends in other sororities because, contrary to what troll woman would have you believe, the sororities are not cults and members definitely have large social circles that include girls who are in other sororities and unaffiliated altogether. Ignore this stupid troll, who, despite her recognizable tone and basically copy-pasted posts, has pretended to be an SMU mom, a student who transferred away from SMU, and a member of "sororities 1-6." She's either a mom or a student who is obviously just salty that she/her kid probably interpreted a "top-tier" girl smiling at her or being nice as a future bid and then didn't get in, so now she's out for blood with her stupid false rants. There are definitely not, like she says, 200 girls sniveling on Bid Day because they were explicitly promised a bid from one sorority and then didn't get in. If Alpha Chi or Gamma Phi (just going to say it outright because we all know that's who she's talking about) offer bids to girls through formal recruitment or COB, it's because they genuinely like them and want them to be a part of their amazing sisterhoods, NOT because they are desperate for money or membership or are in some kind of corrupt deal with Panhel or any other cruel lie this woman has tried to spread on this site. If she's transferred to another school like she says, then she needs to go haunt their Greek Rank page. She's as irrelevant as her stupid posts and replies (which we of course will probably end up seeing in this thread).
