bottom tier vs. gdi

Incoming freshman with pretty much no connections so not sure if I can get a bid from a good house. Is it better to be in a bottom tier fraternity or just gdi at SMU? I probably know what answer I’ll get since this is GR but figured I’d ask anyway.

Just focus on going where you fit in. If you fit in well with guys in a bottom tier chapter go for it. Greek life isn't for everyone though.

Don’t even consider tiers when you rush just go for the ones you like
