I've found some cute outfits for rush but want to insure that what ill be wearing wont be too out there. What would you all say is going to be the common shoes worn as "comfortable shoes" like booties, or actual tennis shoes?

Not actual tennis shoes. Casual means booties or at the most, something like the Vince slip-ons.

Booties
over the knee boots
you can wear cute flats
just depends remember you will be waiting outside and walking so comfort is key.
