by: anondoes money or gpa help get you into a sorority? I have a 4.0 and a decent mount of money but I'm not quite sure if I would be able to fit in with the other girls.

Can't tell if you're a troll or what. If you mean will those two things help you during recruitment to be a desired PNM, well here's the deal: A 4.0 shows that you're not a grade risk and that you wouldn't bring down a chapter's GPA, and that you wouldn't have to drop out because you could handle school and all the sorority participation. You are expected to participate fully in your sorority and keep your grades up too. So yes, a 4.0 will help get you into a sorority. As far as money, it's not about money for the sake of money. You need to be able to afford the dues and all the other sorority expenses for the next four years. If you can do that then you're good with joining. Would it help get you in? Money has nothing to do with being a good fit for a house, or showing your personality and confidence and looking polished during recruitment. So no, having money will not "help get you into a sorority."
