below grade cut

Do houses ever take girls below their grade cut? Like I know a lot of girls in certain houses, and i'm VERY involved on campus, does that help?

yes, but if you're under 3.0 you're a grade risk for most houses

Yes, but you REALLY need something big to make it worth them bidding a grade risk. Chapters can offer bids below their chapter required GPA but not their national required ones - so if "ABC"'s SMU chapter requires a 2.75 to pledge and their national office requires a 2.5, it's possible that they could take an extraordinary pnm with a GPA between those two. But rare.
