go for it as a freshman

The best thing you can do as a new freshman at SMU is go to the night of the club. There are hundreds of clubs at SMU, and then you can join, show up or try any club that interests you. You will meet people who are interested in the same things as you are, and if you find a club you really like you will be able to grow into leadership positions which is fun and looks good on your resume.
