As long as you're registered for recruitment i'd say you're fine! I can't speak for all, but my sorority takes upperclassmen all the time.
My one thing I'll say is make sure you really wanna do it! Don't join only to not be active your senior year else it'll just be a big waste of your time and money! But, if you really wanna do it go for it! It's the best thing to happen to me in college!
