frats and sororitys

What's with DZ and KDR and phi Sig and Kappa Sig? Are they like brother and sister frats or something? I just always see those two pairs together, I'm a freshman so I don't know these things yet

Some sororities and fraternities just have more common interests or mutual friends. Those 4 you mentioned all definitely associate heavily with the other but it's not restricted to that

Phi sig thinks they own kappa sig but in reality every sorority hangs out with them
