Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at Temple University - TU 2.4 Tri Delta, as the leadership stands now, is all nepotism and favouritism. Conduct is a complete joke--officers are not held accountable for their actions when they break chapter rules or treat other members poorly. The director of first year experience, specifically, is openly and blatantly mean towards new members, and singles out members that she personally doesn't like. If an officer doesn't like you, then the leadership as a whole will turn their back on you to side with one of their own. I would only recommend joining if you have thick skin and need something to pad your resume. On an additional note, dues required for new members are $687, and $345 each semester after initiation. For the lack of socials and events that are thrown, it is hard to tell where our money is going.

Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at Temple University - TU 1.0 Definitely the worst sorrority on campus hands down. I would rather be isolated in my room through my college experience than to join tri delt. They don't have any socials, and they are pretty mean considering who they actually are. Surprised they could even convince anyone to join at this point.

Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at Temple University - TU 1.5 Easily the worst sorority on campus. Girls are terrible not friendly at all and almost always rude. They had their first social in 2 years last semester thats basically all you need to know about them. If you are interested in joining a sorority at Temple just pick another one they all do the same stuff but the most popular (have the most and best socials with frats) are DZ and PHI SIG. Tri delt is a bottom of the barrel sorority at Temple (nationally its probably great) and will definitely be off campus soon.

Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at Temple University - TU 5.0 Best sorority on campus. Not your stereotypical sorority. Good looking, fun girls who aren’t rude and full of themselves.

Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at Temple University - TU 1.9 Save your money. I regret ever joining. Throughout my 4 semesters in tri delta, I gained nothing but another bullet point in my resume. It seems as though that is every sister’s goal… to simply boost their resume. Officers also did NOT do their jobs whatsoever. I couldn’t access the sorority portal, Omega, (VITAL for members… has the calendar of events, ability to vote, access rosters, etc.) for 2/4 semesters I was a member. I was very vocal to numerous members of the eboard since day 1, yet nothing was done! Their solution was to let the sisters who don’t have access to Omega to just raise their hands during voting! Or ask the messy eboard for screenshots of the calendar every month! Sisters were in my classes, but no one dared to look at each other. I’d pass sisters on campus, and we’d walk past each other like strangers. Sisterhood events are a joke. Girls who did show up to them just spent their time complaining about having to be there in order to meet the quota. Or how lame the event is. Or how they just rolled out of bed last minute to gain the willpower to attend. Such an awkward, negative energy fills the room if such room is packed with DDD’s; epsilon phi specifically. Everyone sits with their cliques and no one ever tries to reach out to sisters outside of their groups. I was one of them, but that was only because of the constant rumors and judgement that I witnessed. I didn’t want to be a victim of that petty nonsense for simply reaching out. I couldn’t tell you the names of anyone in DDD besides a few of my friends and the ones who were most active in GroupMe. During my exit interview, I mentioned this issue. Their bold and groundbreaking solution they showed me was… wait for it… a google doc list of icebreakers!! The dues are the fun part. Nationals will not allow social events with ticket prices in order to be fiscally “inclusive.” Yet we were told before two separate semesters that our dues would be increasing in order to plan more social events. Absolutely nothing of the sort happened, yet we were stuck paying more in dues than almost every other sorority. The semester I left, we probably had 3 sisterhood/social events. Meanwhile, we would walk past flyers, fundraising booths, and fun events for every other sorority on campus every day. Join Temple’s DDD if you’d like to have the title of being in a sorority, minus… well… everything that is part of one. But don’t worry! You’ll still hold hands and sing the pearl song every chapter meeting. I mean, that’s what it’s all about, right?!
