on average, how much are sorority dues?

I'm rushing and totally don't know much about greek life. I've heard some crazy stories of girls paying thousands of dollars as dues so i'm just wondering how much it usually is before i make any commitments. Thanks!

Most sororities here cost $1000 or Less ......most of them are Less

every sorority is different, some are around 300 per semester some are around 700 per semester. the dues do go down after you're a new member though

my sorority costs way less than $1000 but it all depends on who you join! during recruitment if you ask most sororities will give you an estimate of dues if that helps you make your decision, and there usually is a payment plan in place so you don't have to pay it all at once!
