I went through formal recruitment last fall but ended up not joining a sorority cause I realized the sorority life is not for me but wanted to offer my unbiased opinion/first impressions on all the sororities from recruitment and from what I saw the rest of the school year. Had GREAT conversations during recruitment but they didn’t seem to have much pride for their letters kinda felt more like a hang out group or for girls that just wanna say they’re in a sorority. Haven’t heard anything bad about them but they’re not very involved on campus. I do know they are all very smart and accomplished girls so congrats to that.

I was actually very excited for this sorority during recruitment but the girls i ended up talking to were very stand offish but I have a couple friends in this sorority that are absolute sweethearts it was weird how they presented themselves during recruitment. Kinda like DZ I don’t see them do much on campus, they’re kinda just there but do have so very nice girls. I think they’re shy at first which comes off as rude but are seem like a solid sorority.

First sorority I went to for recruitment and I was just like wow these girls seem like so much fun. So much energy when we walked into the room but when we started having conversations they were very superficial. I’ve meet a couple sig delts off campus and on and they have all been very nice to me. Have heard a lottt of questionable things but everything is how you want to personally take it (like with every other sorority).There are definitely some genuine girls in here but do tend to follow the stereotypical “mean girl” sorority.

I had a very one sided convo during recruitment and it was just weird and I felt totally on the outside. I feel like I never saw them do anything on campus but I’ve also never heard anything bad about them... They’re just there. Not super sweet but not super mean it’s weird idk how to really describe them but I do see a lot of DZ rep their letters on insta and on campus.

DG was a top 3 for me and the girls were really sweet and energetic. I’ve meet a lot of them on and off campus and had a lot in my classes, all were very sweet and I have personally not had any bad interactions with any of them at all. I have heard questionable things but I believe a lot of people are bitter they didn’t get a bid since DG is a top pick for a majority of girls. I feel like you either love them or hate them. Definitely the top sorority- gorgeous, very involved, and outgoing.

In all honesty if I were to have joined a sorority or would have been sig kap. The girls were great during recruitment and I had probably the best conversations out of all the sororities. They are also very involved on campus and with their philanthropy. Like other comments have said they are a very diverse group of girls that you’ll for sure find your girls. Haven’t heard anything bad about them at all!

I felt bad for them during recruitment because no one wanted to go back to them. They were very sweet and you could tell they were trying but it was probably a top 10 most awkward conversation for me. I’ve also heard they don’t even like each other that much? Hopefully just rumors. So yes they are the bottom tier sorority but I wish them well!
