fall rush

by: 2021

I am a freshman planning on rushing clio in the fall. I want to do t in the fall since I’ll be a sophomore and don’t want to wait. Is it harder to get a bid in the fall than in the spring if I haven’t already met a lot of the girls?

For any local in the fall they have the same amount of rush events as they do in the spring (phi lamb, RLK, clio)you have to go to round robin where you'll see the girls in every sorority that takes fall pledge classes and there'll be a schedule with the calendar for rush events at all of the different sororitys houses. If you follow any of them on social media you could try to reach out too! Good luck

So the nice part about rushing in the fall is that you don't have the freshmen to compete with since they can only rush in the spring, meaning it will just be sophomores and a few juniors. This doesn't necessarily make it easier to get a bid, they still have to really like you, but it will be easier to be noticed and stick out. just make sure to keep up to date on all their rush events and maybe follow some girls on instagram and reach out to them! Regardless of any rumors they're really great people and always really nice to rushes unlike some other sororities who judge rushes before really getting to know them. Clio's fall pledge class this year was deferred to spring because there was only a few of them but from what i've heard a lot of girls are interested for the fall.

It is not exactly "easier" or "harder." There are a lot more people that rush in the Spring, therefore, it is harder to get fully noticed. But in the fall, because there are not three grades rushing, there are smaller groups of rushes!
But reach out to sisters, follow them on social media! Don't be afraid to even message them about rush events. The Clio's are really nice and will definitely reach out to you if they see that you are interested! Good luck :)
