So its pretty hard to go out in Geneseo without being in an organization since most parties are closed due to the town passing strict laws against underage drinking. So if you want to go out I would recommend joining something- greek organizations, sports teams, and club sports definitely party the most. Also while about 1/3 of Geneseo students are in a greek organization, Greek life here is pretty casual compared to large universities and southern schools.

I agree with the person above. It’s not that big a deal if you’re not in one. People find their niches without Greek life just fine. But if it’s something that interests you, definitely rush and find an org you fit well with! Good luck and welcome to Geneseo!
