Nope definitely not weird to message or follow! If you have Facebook join their recruitment groups and message the admin (they're probably the recruitment chair) or any girl you know for sure is in the sorority. Just say hi and that you're interested in their org and ask if they have any upcoming rush events. Most girls are really receptive to people reaching out to them about rush.
