fall rush

I heard sororities have already started having closed parties for people they want to give bids to... should I just wait until the Spring and not even waste my time?

Don't be dramatic. Are you a sophomore? Because if you're a freshman you can't even formally rush until Spring. And yeah, sororities parties are usually closed, so go to their rush events and get to know them.
