why are people scared of change

It seems like everyone is scared to move the rankings around, it seems that throughout this entire school year, the ranks have been the same tier wise the only thing that has changed is the order within the tiers, except for the case with dsig. When anyone tries to move a fraternity up or down like du going third tier or alpha sig going seventh tier everyone is quick to react and say they should be switched back in the tier they started on. You guys are all scared of change and scared the rankings change a lot, more than you think
