How does rushing ESA work? Can they reject you from joining even though they are not an official sorority? How badly do they haze?

Esa does still have recruitment and it's not so easy to get in. My friend told me 200 girls rushed it in the fall and there pc has about 45 girls. Hazing I wouldn't know about

Technically they don't "reject" you from joining but what they do is they have a couple of days for you to come and meet the girls/talk to them and all that, and then after like 2/3 days of that they will start emailing girls either asking them to come back or that they didn't make it and that's basically how it works. They just keep cutting down until they get to the amount they want.
