are these girls as bad as everyone says they are? are they fake...? would it be too much pressure if i were to join the sorority?

Yes they are fake and not how they present themselves during recruitment. And yes there is pressure all the time but some people like that. You should know yourself and what works for you. But i would say that if you are even asking, you shouldn't join. Every day will be uncomfortable.
