There is no such thing as an underground sorority. They are NOT sororities and are not a part of Greek life/ recognized as a Greek organization by PSU. They are not allowed to turn people away boys or girls (but they do anyway) they have no rules or committee to limit and stop hazing so your on your own. They are technically not allowed to social with frats ( although they do) and they can get into serious trouble if PSU finds out about it. Although they participate in thon they are not a really a service sorority (like o phi a and gamma sigma sigma). Underground "sororities " are basically party clubs with no rules which if thats what you want then go for it, but if your looking for more than just partying (ie a national/ strong sisterhood, philanthropy, networking) continue regular rush or join a service sorority! Panhellenic is recognized by PSU. The sororities participate in homecoming grewk week thon Greek sing (some of those events the undergrounds do as well but not all) they have national philanthropies, a dorm floor on campus, and receive lots of social perks.
