So, out of 1700 girls that rushed last year, only 1200 got bids. Is the Greek system at PSU actually slightly selective or did a lot of girls just lose interest in Greek life after recruitment?

So yeah not everyone gets a bid, and that number doesn't reflect the number of girls who accepted their bid. So if 1200 got one, it's possible only 1000 actually accepted/ made it through to getting initiated before dropping. There are many reasons a girl could drop/ not accept from not getting the one they wanted, to losing interest, to financial issues, to scholarship issues, to some not so nice issues (ie hazing).

But yeah, I guess you could say it's slightly selective.
